DE LA CASA

So as you may have noticed over the past few months that the reviews/posts on the site had slowed down. I feel I have some explaining to do.

The past few months have been a time of immense change in my life, I've finally moved into my own house and with that I had to take some time out to get things in order.

It has always been a dream of mine to have a man cave where I can display my DVD collection and after weeks of organizing my 1000+ DVD collection I finally have one.

The name of this site will stay the same but I have retired the physical Watch box, I can now announce its spiritual successor which is the man cave I call "De La Casa".

BRINGING OUT THE DEAD (1999) REVIEW.

An underrated film in Martin Scorsese's back catalogue, well worth seeking out, it is a fun thriller if anything.

3.5 out of 5 STARS.

WHERE IS ANNE FRANK (2021)

I feel like it was done respectfully as possible to the source material but I didn't think it was as captivating as the film was hoping to be. The final 15 minutes lost me.

3 out of 5 STARS.

BLACK BAG (2025) REVIEW

The film wasn't what I expected but it was ok, it was smart but also kind of boring. I feel like the film breezed through some of the plot points without ever really going into more detail. It was very stylish but could of used a little more substance in my opinion. Now I've watched it once I won't go out of my way to watch it again.

2.5 out of 5 STARS.

PREY (2022) REVIEW

A breath of fresh air and a truly original premise for a predator prequel, the fact that this film was sent straight to streaming services is criminal. This definitely should have had a theatrical run.

4 out of 5 STARS.
