 Found this film to be an absolute chore to sit through with Ashton Kutchers portrayal of Steve Jobs. This film sets out to show us how much of a genius Steve was and then proceeds to spend the two hour runtime showing us how much of a jerk he was instead.

ABDUCTION (2011) REVIEW

 After watching this film I'm convinced that Taylor Lautner cannot act his way out of a paper bag. This was far fetched brain rot that was full of holes and has the poorly aged stench of the early 2010's all over it. I did find this mildly entertaining but ONLY because it was so bad. There are so many better action flicks out there so give this one a miss.

HE'S OUT THERE (2018) REVIEW

 He's out there exceeded my expectations BUT that's only because they were so low to begin with...The first half of this film is a complete nothing burger, This movie is a one and done for me. I will put it back on the shelf and never watch it again. Far from the worst but far from the best either it is just eh.

THE GRISTLE (2001) REVIEW

 Yeah this movie is horrible, it doesn't ease you in at all it actually starts very suddenly which is quite jarring, none of the jokes and I mean not one of the jokes in this film are in anyway funny. The whole runtime is spent by the characters saying "you're white and I'm black" or "you're black and I'm white" this film tries really hard to be smart and offer commentary on race but fails spectacularly. There are a few recognizable faces in the cast and they were clearly there for a pay day. If you're looking for a comedy to watch on a weekend evening PLEASE skip over this one, it is not worth your time.

I can't recommend this one even if you're a die hard Nic Cage fan like myself.

AD ASTRA (2019) REVIEW

 Desolate yet beautiful this film is a wonderful example of story telling, Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones are fantastic in the roles of father and son and they absolutely knock it out of the ballpark. Ad Astra is the first sci fi film I've ever seen where I feel like this could be reality for people 400 years or so from now. Go check this one out you won't be disappointed.

SWEENEY TODD (2006) REVIEW

 Fantastic, leagues better than the Burton version. It's hard to believe that this was a TV movie as it was really well done. Ray Winstone was perfect as the title character as well as a great supporting cast which also includes a young tom hardy. Definitely recommend to people who haven't seen this.
