SPY KIDS 3: GAME OVER (2003) REVIEW

 I watched this recently with the early 2000's 3D where you need the cellophane glasses and I feel like it added to the charm, it also has the best CGI of the original trilogy which if you're familiar with spy kids isn't saying much.

 Yes the film takes itself way too seriously and yes the real life animal abuse footage in the opening sequence offers no purpose to the movie other than it being the "true story" aspect... But as a horror fan this is a Uwe Boll B movie bloodbath that I couldn't help but enjoy.

With an unnecessarily long build it takes a while to get going but when it does it is high octane, I found the way it ended to be a bit odd though. All in all it was fine.

 A perfect example of overly dramatic fecal matter that I couldn't stand. The way they massacred the Wizard of Oz was just disrespectful. I didn't have seeing a de-aged Jeff Goldblum on my 2025 bingo card but oh boy did we get it and oh boy was it ghastly. yucky.

 Two low end criminal friends and a porn star fight a group of mutants called the diaper gang in a dystopia powered by human feces. I don't think it would take a genius to know that this Korean animated film is not going to be for everyone.

 A mind bending film, with a terrific ending I went into this one not knowing anything about it and oh boy was I not expecting what I saw. I feel like Ari Aster took some inspiration from this film when he made "Beau Is Afraid". A great movie.

CRY WOLF (2005) REVIEW

 A film that tries to make itself look smart but by trying way too hard it instead turns itself into a convoluted mess, I found the main character to be insufferable with his too cool for school demeanor. If you're looking for a slasher to scratch that itch, you could do much better than this one.
