WHY THE WATCHBOX?

The WatchBox

 Followers of the site maybe wondering why I've called it "The WatchBox".Well let me give you the reason behind it.

I own a box that I have dubbed the "WatchBox", I have had this box for a very long time. Most weekends I go on DVD hunts and I try to find anything that catches my interest, Whatever I find goes into the Watchbox and when I pick out a film it doesn't get put back, as a rule I must watch it so the contents are always changing.

When naming this site I had originally come up with "FilmFocus" but this didn't feel personal enugh to me. I thought long and hard before I had a light bulb moment! The name was right underneath my nose the whole time! The rest as you say is history.

BIGFOOT (2012) REVIEW

 Terrible CGI bigfoot, hammy acting and 99.5% of the cast are over the age of 45. So there is no reason as to why I ended up enjoying the film as much I did. 

Alice Cooper is in this film for all of 10 minutes and was easily the best part for me as i found him hilarious. Overall a solid little B movie that will make you laugh even if it's not supposed too.

YU-GI-OH: THE MOVIE - PYRAMID OF LIGHT (2004) REVIEW

 Loved Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid and still love it as an adult. This film adaptation was a fun time across the board.

DADDY'S HEAD (2024) REVIEW

 

This movie was ok but it is just ok, with such a unique premise for the film I thought so much more could of been done. In conclusion it's not as good as it could of been.

VENOM: THE LAST DANCE (2024) REVIEW

 It was a fun popcorn flick, was so unexpected but cool to see Knull on the big screen. didn't feel like the ending to a franchise though.

 Was a fun time at the movies.
